Alley Theater has begun production on a play about a critical period in Lyndon Baines Johnson’s presidency called “All the Way”. Winner of the Tony Award, the Alley’s Texas-sized production of a gripping new play about LBJ features a cast combining artists from the Alley, with members of the Dallas Theater Center portraying some of history’s most dynamic figures and the 36th President of the United States himself. 1964: A pivotal year in American history – a landmark civil rights bill passed, involvement in Vietnam deepening, and one man at the center of it all, determined to lift the country out of the ashes and rebuild it into The Great Society – by any means necessary.

At a recent convention in San Antonio members of the Houston Gay Gaymers led a panel discussion on diversity in the gaming culture. Having this discussion wasn’t without some controversy, and there were even death threats over having the topic at a South by South West convention in Austin. We’ll talk with the Gaymers about what happened and what it’s like to be LGBTQ in the gaming community in Houston, and on-line.
